Chrome Piping

Chrome piping is classified as a corrosion-resistant alloy (CRA). This makes it a good choice when you need pipe that can withstand high temperatures and pressures. Some examples include power plants, petrochemical plants, refineries, and oil field services.

Stainless Steel Pipe and Tubes

We also offer stainless steel piping and tubing products. Stainless steel piping is renowned for its corrosion resistance, strength, and temperature resilience.

Given its versatility, stainless steel is commonly used in industries like food processing, water treatment, energy generation, and more.

Nickel Alloy Pipe and Tubes

Our selection also includes nickel alloy pipe and tubes, well-regarded for their superior strength and resistance to heat and corrosive materials.

Nickel alloy pipe is useful in environments where excellent resistance to heat, corrosion, and erosion is required. This includes applications in harsh environments such as marine engineering, chemical processing, and power generation.

Carbon Pipe and Tubes

Carbon steel pipe and tubes are the workhorses of the industrial piping world, serving as the backbone in a variety of sectors due to their adaptability and affordability. Carbon steel pipe and tubes are robust and resilient, exhibiting impressive durability and longevity.

They are best suited to a wide range of sectors. In the oil and gas industry, for example, they are commonly used due to their ability to withstand corrosive environments and high pressures, which are common in oil drilling and transportation.

In construction, carbon steel pipe is favored for its strength and load-bearing capabilities. It plays a crucial role in the creation of secure and sturdy structures. In the automotive industry, it is used in the manufacture of vehicles, as it offers the optimal blend of flexibility, durability, and cost-effectiveness.

Its heat-resistant properties make it suitable for power generation plants, where it is used in boilers and heat exchange systems. In the water infrastructure sector, carbon steel pipe is used for water supply, sewage systems, and firefighting equipment due to its resistance to corrosion from water and sewage.

We carry a large selection of sizes and schedules in-stock and have the ability to help you find a specialty or unique size. With our diverse selection, we aim to meet your specific needs promptly and efficiently, without compromising on the quality and performance of the products.

Seamless Pipe

Seamless-Pipes-Image

Seamless pipe, manufactured without joints or welding points, is crafted by heating and piercing a solid steel cylinder – a billet, which is then rolled or stretched to the desired length, diameter, and thickness.

Seamless pipe can withstand extreme temperatures and pressure, has high resistance to internal erosion, and is incredibly durable. This makes it a popular choice in projects such as:

  • Gas lines
  • High-pressure processes in refineries
  • Hydrocarbon industries
  • Oil and gas infrastructures

Seamless pipe comes in a wide variety of diameters, schedules, and grades. And because it does not have joints or welding points, it is incredibly resilient to stress, fatigue, and breakage, making it our go-to pipe.

ERW Pipe and Tubes

ERW tubes are welded tubes that are treated with an electric resistance welding (ERW) process. While they may not be as strong as their seamless counterparts, they are typically more cost-efficient to produce, and their wall thickness is more consistent than that of seamless pipe or tubes.
ERW pipe and tubes are most commonly used in industries such as engineered products, fencing, scaffolding, automobiles, water and gas conveyance, and agriculture. The most common specification for ERW pipe is A53, but you can discuss the necessary specifications for your project with a Mattsco expert to discover the best option.
